Online Data Analysis

This page provides access to the TRUEDEM online analysis tool, which brings together the project’s main quantitative data resources, including both harmonised secondary datasets and the project’s original survey data. Through the Online Data Analysis platform (www.truedemdata.eu), users can explore long-term indicators of political trust in Europe from the 1980s to 2022, a longitudinal cross-country dataset on voter turnout and official European and national election results in EU Member States from 1990 to 2022, a comparative database on political polarization across EU Member States for 1990–2022, and a cross-country dataset on political participation in social media. The tool also provides access to the project’s primary quantitative evidence through the TRUEDEM online population survey. These datasets allow users to analyse long-term trends and cross-national variation in political trust, electoral participation, polarization, digital political engagement, and related democratic attitudes using both secondary evidence and original data generated by the project.
